Wendy Woods-Swafford, MD, MPH

Dr. Woods-Swafford attended a combined baccalaureate/medical degree program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her pediatric residency at Blank Children's Hospital and fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She obtained a Master's in Public Health from Vanderbilt while researching pediatric gliomas. She received an American Society of Clinical Oncology Merit Award for this work. Dr. Woods is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric hematology/oncology, and Hospice and Palliative care. Her clinical interests include Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology and Leukemia. Dr. Woods also serves as the Medical Director and Vice President of Blank Children's Hospital.
