Nelson Telles, MD

Nelson completed his medical education and an undergraduate degree from Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado. Dr. Telles completed his residency and internship at the University of Iowa – Des Moines Internal Medicine Residency Program; he completed his fellowship at Louisiana State University - Health Sciences Center Shreveport. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a registered physician in vascular interpretations. 
Dr. Telles is fluent in Spanish and English. Dr. Telles's clinical interests include vascular lesions, cardiomyopathy, cardiac care, cardiovascular health, cardiac ultrasound and valvular heart disease.
