Mackenzie Lees, MD

Dr Lees is originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She completed her medical school and General Surgery residency at the University of Alberta and her Pediatric Surgery training at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  She has a particular interest in teaching and obtained a Masters Degree in Surgical Education from the University of Alberta, through the RCPSC Clinician Investigator Program. 
Dr Lees believes in patient-centered care, good communication and efficiency. She treats each patient as if they were her own, and her ultimate goal is to help kids feel better and live life to their full potential.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Lees enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and their two energetic dogs!
