Laura received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University and is board-certified by the National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She enjoys the challenges and rewards of General Surgery and delivers individually-focused care to all patients. When not performing surgeries, you can find Laura reading, hiking or enjoying recreational sports.

I have had a passion for helping others as long as I can remember. My mother is a nurse and I saw the ins and outs of the health care field growing up. I developed a love for health care and coupling that with my passion for helping others, becoming a medical provider seemed to be the perfect fit. My care philosophy is “the patient always comes first”. I will go above and beyond my daily duties or responsibilities to make sure each and every patient is taken care of. I want patients to feel like they are heard and have a voice in how they are cared for. My goals is to collaborate with the patient and each member of their care team to provide them with exceptional care.
